I want to test different ebook titles through PPC. So i want to target my biggest keyword lets say travel then make 10 different ppc ads all different. maybe 1 saying TRAVEL IN A BAD ECONOMY or TRAVEL CHEAP IN TODAYS MARKET and see who is getting the most clicks. at the end i simple want to see which ones were clicked the most. Is this possible? What is the least i can invest? thank you |

yes it would be possible but probably not your best option, a adwords ad has 4 lines of text, if you can work out what line of an ad it is that triggered the person to click that may help. as to what to invest that will depend on the cpc, and the depth of your test, if you wanted to test each add over 100 clicks multiply that out by number of ads and the cost per click. |

akilispensor that is a really good idea i should have realized that considering i use it sometimes. It is free to do it and probably i will have better results in the end. When i find a great title do i have to see if someone else is using it for legal issues? Are ebooks like this or you can just have the same title as anyone? thank you |

| Yes, it's very possible and a good idea. Adwords Maximizer will let you multivariate test 9 different ads at once, and it's free: |

It's a very solid strategy - I think it's almost exactly what the "Four Hour Workweek" guy recommends, though I can't remember for sure, it's been years since I skimmed his book at Barnes and Noble. In my old corporate days, we'd run market tests like this all the time, especially with PPC because it's so easy to measure. As long as you set up a mock sales funnel for each individual title. You'd be surprised at how certain titles elicit better responses than others. And furthermore, you'd be blow away at what titles actually cause people to click the "Buy" button. Good luck |
