You cannot have more than 200 active channels at the same time

I just got this message in Adsense. Ummm, me thinks me have been doing it wrong?

So every new page I make I put adsense on right. I give it an "AdSense Unit Name" and also give it an "Adsense Channel".

So It looks like I've done it all wrong.

I asumming now that I should have had say the channel as the name of website 1, website 2, website 3 etc??

Then within that channel had just named the "Adsense Unit Name".

So what is the solution?
Go through all 200 ads and chang enames etc? Argghhh

I use simple url channels - it tracks adsense by site. Just switch to that method.

But - I don't track by ad as I know what sizes work best for me and it's just the site potential that I'm tracking.

It is saying I can no longer make any more channels. Can I delete them all?
This will not delete my actual ads will it?

You can edit ad and add/remove from channel.

I wish they'd increase it from 200. I've had to leave some pages without a channel name so that I won't run out. It would help if they went up to 500 channels or so.

You can also track what pages earn the most with Google Analytics, the stats. smoke Adsense data.
