Hello, Want to say thank to all you nice Warriors for great help and good info. ( I Am from a Country that not speak English, sorry for my bad spelling. ) Many of you probably know this already but for those who do not yet know it, this may increase your CPM by approx. 20% 1st Log in to adsense. 2nd Press the "My Account" 3rd Scroll down the page to "Preference for interest-based ads" 4th Press "Edit" Now you have two options, one is this: "Display ads based on user interest categories. Visit Information on my sites will be used to create interest groups." As there is probably a "cross" for now. This means that those ads are displayed on your page are some categories that visitors have searched before and therefore they show adsense ads do not necessarily fit 100% to your page. By choosing the second option which states: "Do not show ads based on user interest categories. Visit the Information on my sites will not be used to create interest groups." Want to Adsense now only show ads that match 100% to your page, it means that ads are now much more relevant to your visitors now. If you have a page dealing with loans or insurance, so are prices for clicks also much higher than by example. Cats. This will allow your click price and CTR increased now. My CTR increased by 2% and then the price rose sharply experienced often click on $ 5 for the same page as before, almost always was about $ 1. Simply choose the second option. Compare your earnings and see if it should rise. Hope it will help a lot of you! |

That's interesting, thanks for posting. I'll change my setting and see what happens. I'm wondering though how it will affect sites with already low paying ads(?).

I tried this. Did it work? I'm not sure. The best thing was putting my ads closer to the body content. That lead to a 500% adsense income increase! |

Anyone have any results - good, bad, or neutral - trying this?
