520 impressions, only 16 clicks

My website is sitting at number 5 on google for a high search keyword. According to googles webmaster tool. I have received 520 impressions and only 16 clicks. Can anyone help me ? I uptimized my title, description, and still I have a low CTR. Also, I did an alexa check for my keyword it shows that the #1 position gets 39% of that traffic. Do I realy have to get to position 1 to get that traffic I have worked hard for?

Sadly, position 5 is below the fold on many people's screens. You almost have to be in the top 2-3 for it to really get traffic these days.

Yes it is indeed below the fold but what about the Impressions I'm getting with the low CTR?

There is nothing anyone here could do to help you. If you truly optimized your stuff to the best of your ability you cannot do anything more while staying at rank 5. Also wait a week to really gauge your CTR, one day is simply not enough.

Your only other option is to keep building backlinks and get to #1.

Done this for only one day? I find that weekends / holidays - people aren't in. Give it some time.

its been about 3 days now since i have been on position 5, and i have been getting a lot of impressions but no clicks.
