Default Having multiple backlinks from EZA, does it help ranking

Hi

I've posted an article on EzineArticles a few months ago, hence I got backlink from EZA.

Now I've created another account on EZA, and are considering to submit another article with dofollow backlink.

Will the second EZA article help my site ranking in google? Or maybe it have no effect because I already have backlink from EZA to my site (first article I submitted)?

These articles will be posted under 2 different user accounts in EZA

any suggestions?

Get as many Ezine backlinks as you can. They all help.

It depends. If all the links have the same anchor text and are going to the same URL, then at some point, I would say 10-20, the value of those links begins to diminish.

On the other hand if you mix up more than one anchor text with more than one URL (within the same domain) then you can probably do more.

It also depends on whether or not you're looking for traffic for traffic from these links or just the links themselves.

Its always better though, to spread your articles out to more directories than just Ezine.

Good Luck

Hi,

Just wondering why you say 10-20?

Because with 50 links from the same site, even Ezine, with the same anchor text and same url, you'll eventually start seeing diminishing returns.

Don't get me wrong, there is no such thing as a bad backlink, but would you prefer to have 10 links each, from 5 articles directories or 50 from one?

Google is already diminishing the value of these links because the directories have been spammed to hell and back. Google doesn't like unnatural looking links.

Spread them out you'll be better off, in my opinion.

I joined EZA a few days ago and my first article is still sitting in pending, unreviewed. :P

Even if there was a cut off point where your next article didn't count for anything, people republish the content giving you links from other domains which is helpful.

It doesn't hurt to submit articles over and over.

I've been aggressive about the article marketing this year and I definitely see the results. I've pushed my way from deep in the SERP pack to the front page for a handful of moderately competitive keywords.

Trying to push my way to the top of page 1 has been a slog though. In may experience, more links is better. Having those links come in from multiple article directories is better than having them just come in from EZA.

I think Frank hit it right on the head.. they will diminish in value if they are ALL the same anchor, etc. but remember..

any link is worth more than no link, especially more if it's coming from a high auth site like ezine.

100% agree. There is no need to get 100 backlinks from the same source for the same URL. We need to get backlinks from Unique Class C IP Address. Otherwise getting backlinsk would have become much more easier.

That makes sense, that is kind of why I stopped using them. They work, but I already had so many links from their site. I need to build links elsewhere.

Having more back links from ezine does not increase your PR as they are from the same IP(No IP diversification). But you would get a lot of traffic if your article ranks.
