|  Changing Code from ASP to Joomla will affect my site? Hi , Recently I have change my website coding asp to joomla . when I was going to change completely my URL structure is changed. Will it affect my site?. Another one thing I saw Google displaying my old URL. what should i do for that . Give me your suggestion |

Yeah, it'll effect your site in a big way especially if you're changing the URL structure. When you're finished, just resubmit your sitemap. Google should update itself in time. |

I read this years ago and try to follow it: Hypertext Style: Cool URIs don't change. You can use a comprehensive series of 301 redirects to help matters until Google sorts your site out. CliveG |
