I'm sorry to hear you have failed and although I can't offer advice I can tell you that as a newbie in the IM world I have felt your pain myself several times over. For some reason I throw myself back in there and try again with the hopes that one of these times IT WILL WORK! I just know it. If you ever want to throw ideas or chat feel free to find me on FB or Twitter. My name is ecigchic. I'm still working my way up to having enough posts for pm's. I'll keep you in my prayers |
| I've written my first article, please pass it on & advice is appreciated :) The e-cig is a safe alternative to smoking. | |

As a former teacher, I will tell you what I told all my students. You have not failed until you quit trying. Until then you are discovering ways it did not work, which brings you one step closer to success. Edison "failed" 10,000 times before he invented the light bulb. When asked about his failures, he stated he did not fail 10,000 times. He only discovered 10,000 ways not to make the light bulb. |

It's really hard to give advice without any particulars. If you want something reviewed then offer it up here and ask for comments. All I can say if it's not working then change it.

A lot of people learn SEO the wrong way and/or from bad sources. The aforementioned two are essential and are awesome sources. Also, try to do things that don't violate the Google Webmaster Guidelines.

My only advice will be to choose one area of IM and focus, wondering about from one method to another can be quite frustrating. Focus on an aspect say Adsense for example and focus until you make it work, People that are making money, make sure they focus and when they start seen results, they replicate and scale up, only after then they started trying other aspect of Internet Marketing. I wish you all the Best.

I have to ask how hard have you been working at developing and promoting your site(s)? If it is the site in your signature you may need more than 0 backlinks to get any organic traffic in such a niche. Plus this was started just a few months ago (May) and in the niche your domain mentions you are going to need to be in a constant state of promotion. You may want to get some sort of text on what should be your home page also. Currently I get a blank page when going there. http://www.smartrademoney.com/ The forum and your squeeze pages are inner pages via Google. So that leaves what should be the main door (your home page) with nothing but emptiness. Have you researched your competition might I ask? Somehow I get the feeling that not a lot of effort was put into this. I love a challenge but I would hesitate to take on such a niche knowing what it involved. As for adsense you need a fair amount of traffic to make anything besides pennies even if Adwords tools said they pay double digits for a specific keyword term. Don't believe it until you see it. You have not failed, you have only begun to fight from what I see. The niches you have selected are certain to keep you in constant battle and you will need to do much more on the promotion side of things. There is no easy money as the media would make you think. You will work for every dime you make, most often at a loss, for quite some time. Perhaps JV with someone that is tech savy and can help you out with optimizing things a bit more. Perhaps ask if this is really what you want to do because from what I see off hand there is no passion in this for you. At least not anymore. I'm not trying to discourage you because anything can be accomplished. I'm just pointing out facts that need concentrated on if you are serious about this. Good Luck Ken |

Geez, I don't know where to begin. It took me almost five years for my breakthrough. I made money along the way but nothing consistent. Advice is cheap but here goes... Pick one thing... Cut out all distractions (television, email, facebook, twitter, whatever). Try to put in 3 hours per day. That's the magic formula. My favorite is to build a list and sell to the list. This has its share of advantages and disadvantages. The big advantage is that you control your traffic (there are so many ways to build your list that don't involve search engines). The disadvantage is the learning curve. The biggest hurdle, I think, is learning to sell (others may disagree). There are some good teachers out there whose products are reasonably priced and have a genuine interest in their students. Geoff Shaw and Liz Tomey come to mind. Winston Churchill said "Never, never, never, never, never give up!" All the best to you, Scott |

If you are an affiliate try supporting that affiliate site with your own spin and content like a review site. And say if you buy my product you will recieve .... for free ive done it before and got a few sales. If you are selling PLR products go to youtube and make a quick video on your product you promote you dnt have to show yr mug on tele just a quick video say get this free ebook what ever by clicking the link below once they get redirected to your landing page wammm a pop up page says hey special offer(make sure the product is a premium product) if they dont buy the product thats alright because you can generate a email list this way |

Hey join the fail club. I can't ever get much of anything off the ground either and that's been my life story. I keep feeling like anything I'm trying right now has a big sinkhole waiting for it.

If you like selling products on commission, here's a tip: have a look at Amazon, you can see what the hot products are easily, also the reviews can give excellent notes on the product which can inspire your review. It's definitely doable but requires much more effort than the people selling "hope" would have you believe... |

You are making no money yet you claim to be a money making guru? Believe me, it shows in your writing. Write in a niche you know a lot about. The passion for your subject really does come through in your writing. There is money to be made in other niches. Art is a lot more profitable than I thought. B2B is extremely under marketed. There are just so many good niches out there! |

You haven't failed, in fact you have succeeded, succeeded in what you may ask? Succeeded in failing. Already from your statement you have claimed you have failed, so from that alone, there is no hope for you. Now, if you want to succeed in anything you need to realize there is no fail, only paths and stepping stones for you to reach your goal. Sure, you may find a path that takes you to your destination in the quickest time, whilst another may lead you down a road that is long and tedious. Imagine you are taking a trip to a certain destination, there are many ways to get there, coach, train, plane etc. Each form of transportation can get you where you want to get, it's up to you what path you should take. Whether one takes longer than the other, it's irrelevant, sooner or later you will get to where you want to get. Taking the same analogy, picture your destination in your head, knowing that no matter what route you take, how long it takes and various other variables, you WILL eventually get to where you want to get. Learn from your mistakes, correct and move forward, don't come onto a forum and claim you have failed whilst at the same time ask for help. I am not trying to be harsh, in fact I am trying to help. It doesn't take a genius to figure it all out. Set your goals, ask for help when you need it and work on your success. |

If you are createive, create a WSO of something relevant. There is an entire forum with 1000 people on it most of the time to sell to. If you are willing to put in the legwork for generating sites and links then you can build networks and promote virtually anything. If you don't have an area of expertise, get one and then sell on that knowledge. Are you spending at least 3 hours a day learning and another three doing your own building and creation? If no then you are not putting enough in to get enough out. I KNOW anyone can make money. I started an affiliate scheme for on of my partners sites last week and through conversations I KNOW that relative newcomers are getting sign-ups and building a long-term rev-share through that. Its not rocket science, just common sense to find the right places to get people signing-up. So take a step back, think, and then try again. |

You learned something, why not build a list, create a blog about something you're passionate about and then promote affiliate products in that niche, hell, you could even create a product, whatever you decide just keep pushing! It's easy to give up! Keep pushing :-D

On another note... as I am new to the forum... I tend to get lost wondering about specifics. I didn't read anyone asking what is meant by "didn't make money". That is pretty relative. Is making $50 in a month NOT making money? I don't think so... to me you made $50 without having to speak to anyone, ship anything, buy anything, no overhead...sounds good to me. I am a IM noob to be sure, but I have had a website churning out $150-$200 per month EVERY month for about 7 years! ...even with me ignoring it for almost 2 years straight (verified on way back machine <URL not allowed for new posters> - no updates). I recently put up a website for my dad's bicycle shop and have really only put a few cheezy PLR articles, but with bicycles adsense pays pretty good...read as .$0.60 a click. So remember that ALOT of many is very relative to other people. Me? I honestly have a goal to get to $1,000/mo starting 2 weeks ago... hopefully with the help of some great people on here that might happen here in the next 3-6 months. -= Abel =-

How long did you spend on each 'venture'? The problem with the make money niche is that it's designed to keep you 'locked in' and buying more and more... Choose a topic you are interested in, stop buying new e-books/'virtual products' and do what solton said - i.e. nuckle down and apply yourself fully to one thing. Sometimes it can take years of trying. So forget what the make money niche tells you. Realise that there are very rarely any 'get rich quick' schemes and apply yourself fully to something you have a natural talent and interest in |

Donal Trump In 1995, he combined his casino holdings into the publicly held Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts. Wall Street drove its stock above $35 in 1996, but by 1998 it had fallen into single digits as the company remained profitless and struggled to pay just the interest on its nearly $2 billion in debt. Under such financial pressure, the properties were unable to make the improvements necessary for keeping up with their flashier competitors. He has actually failed many business but the few that work... well |

One of the biggest marketing experts said "65 % of what I try in business FAILS" , And this probably means something . Failure is there for you to LEARN and APPRECIATE . Easy come easy go . Business is about connecting supply with demand If you learn to asses through observation what are the problems people are desperate about and solve it , You'll succeed . A Lemon man amidst the middle of the desert , With thousands of thirsty people looking for anything to drink , Would he sell AT ALL ?! And remember the darkest time is just before dawn =) |

I have failed for years, but I keep trying. The only difference between me now and then is that I have realistic expectations. I have learned a lot. I have made some money...not much. I have learned not to spread myself too thin. I am realizing that it is necessary to concentrate on one website at a time even though that gets boring.

If adsense is the way you'd like to go, then I would recommend you take a look at the coaching Zeus66 offers: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-flipping.html I followed it myself although adsense isn't my main income source, but the sites I build following his system started making money within a month of creation and promotion. Maybe something for you to look at. Leslie |
