Is this normal? Google slapped?

Hello I have a site and I was working on SEO for sometime and I got on the first page 2nd postion for the exact keyword! Now I just checked and I'm the last on page 4 of google! Is this normal?

thats a google dance.... quite normal, especially if you are busy link-building.... google recalculates and it tries to figure out where to best place your website.... u can go up or down or gone for a bit until your site finally settles...

google slap is Adwords related...... it is when Adwords gives you very low quality score and asks you to raise your cpc bid to a demonic level hence paralyzing your advertising campaign ... usually this happens when advertisers get caught for being lazy and do not show Google enough respect

Its quite normal, google dances with out websites. They calculate depending upon link building, sometimes they give more importance, sometimes less.

How old is your site and did you start building backlinks recently?
