Default Aite SEO Peoples?

So I don't know if I'll be giving myself a headache with this one but I'm keen on buying this domain (new) the exact keywords, with .net or .org TLD available. It gets around 12,000 searches daily according to some software. Only thing that worries me is the competition is like 120 mil LOL...anyone tried doin battle with something like that?

Sheez... that's rough. How many backlinks do the top three position current holders have? Also, how is their PR?

I don't claim to be an "SEO Expert", but this is where I would start...

Dereks right. This info is key. I don't tend to go after those types of keywords unless the competition is under PR 5 or is not really all that greater match. Are all those competitors exact match competitors?

You should also be concerned about the domain age of the competitors. You can try to rank for some lower fruit keywords and over time start throwing in the more competitive keywords into the mix

LOL okay my brothers...and kim. First page goes as low as pr 5 and as high as pr 8 :/..top spots got links in the tens of thousands. Ima say that I won't but most likely I'll get some napolean syndrome and have a crack at this.

@kim, yea I might hit the area with multiple domains/keywords.
