I find it difficult in pinging my blog. Please i need you to tell me the steps in pinging my blog so as to improve my search engine ranking.

Either of those work great and I use Pingler as well (although you only get to use it 5 times per day without signing up for premium). Just enter your URL, blog name, and RSS (optional) and then his the submit/ping button. That's all there is to it.

Edit: Also, some blogs are set up to automatically ping when you make a new post.

Since when does pinging help ranking? It just gets it indexed quicker. I don't waste my time with it.
