What's your comment on this scenario. I am currently listed on page one for a local service in my local city. I am listed in 1st place ( A spot ) on Google Places Map What if? I now create 9 other websites ( same service ) I use different phones and addresses for website and google places Start off-page seo on all sites I know all will not make page one, but just a couple would push more competitors out of the page one, and some off local maps. Other then the ( large ) issue of people calling several websites only to get the same person on the phone, whats your input of this? |

Instead of putting all of the effort into something that will cause your competition to alert Google Places of the false listings and potentially getting your own original listing removed, why not put the effort into your website to claim #1 ranking also? Depending on the local search competition for your market, you could also rank video, Facebook, yelp, couple 2.0 sites to take over more organic spots. -Shane |

your right, much better to rank those other sites then to use such a "spammy-type" technique as I mentioned above. Thanks |
