Default Trafic travis user agreement - they collect your data

I was thinking of installing Traffic Travis mostly so I could track my website SEO ranking over time for my site network. While installing the free version of Traffic Travis this little detail came up in their user agreement.

-------------
3.2 Transfer of Data

The Software may from time to time transmit the data collected and generated through your use of the Software (such as search results and keyword and other rankings, but not information that can identify you) to Traffic Travis, Affilorama and to our sister companies for the purposes of optimising the Software and providing related services. You grant Traffic Travis and Affilorama a perpetual, irrevocable, fully paid-up, non-exclusive licence to store and use such data for these purposes.
-------------

What do you guys think of this? Should I run away from these guys or not worry about this?

Also If you guys have a suggestion for a good program to track/monitor your site ranking over time let me know.

I was also looking into Rank Tracker but you have to subscribe to their updates or your install stops working. It makes nice looking graphs of your rank over time - this is what I am looking for so I can track my new and old sites easily.

I once got the free version of TrafficTravis and found it pretty useless. And they sent me a lot of spam.

I recommend SEObook's Rank Checker. It's free, clean, easy, and has history and export to CSV.

I don't like this sort of thing at all but if you want to use such software you have to put up with it. In theory the information is sufficient to determine what niches are best and how to compete with them.
