Default What's the best way to fill in the content for a Web 2.0 linkwheel?

I understand the concept of a linkwheel, but I'm wondering if there's a "right" way to set up the content of each "spoke" for the linkwheel.

For example, should you be updating your Squidoo lens with new articles periodically? Should each of those articles include ANOTHER link back to your money site?

How about your blogger blog? Should you be updating that with new content and backlinks as well?

The best way would be to continue to update your blogs/sites. You do not want to add more outgoing links on your sites and you also want to make sure that whatever you do in setting the link structure that it looks natural to the search engines... the traditional linkwheel does not look natural and will give you a bump in it's initial stages but long term affect you negatively as it will appear as a scheme to defraud the search engines.
