Arrow Dedicated Ips On VPS Should Be C-Class Ips?

I am thinking of purchasing VPS and have question about IPs. I want to diversify my websites between 4 dedicated Ips so each IP will host 25 domains. Are these Ips must be C-Class Ips or not? I want to minimize chances of Google banning my sites, so if one IP address has been banned with 25 domains on it, i still have other 3 Ips with 75 domains.

Also will you recommend Liquid Web or ServInt?

Thanks.

Why exactly are you worried about IPs? Are you building a network? If your sites are not networked, IP makes no difference. If you are building a network, what you are describing probably won't help. My advice: don't mess with networking links unless you are an expert (an even then...).

Yeah , having C-Class Ip for different domain will help you in SEO.
But google also have access to your Domain whois so if the domains are not registered in different registrars and with different names the IP will not have much benefits.

Well first I am pretty sure neither of those companies you mentioned will provision you with different class C ip's, especially on a VPS. For a fact I know liquidweb won't and I'm 99% sure servint won't.

Yes different class c ip's can assist you, if it's part of your SEO strategy, ect. But to strictly be using it because your going to be doing some shaddy stuff and the search engines won't like, I'm not sure if thats the best method...

PS: You may try looking into hostgators division which focuses on multiple class c addresses or another similar service that specifically caters to this.

Maybe some of you have heard of wikipedia (and all their sites),
icanhazcheezburger, etc. All have a zillion sites on the same server,
all inter-linked.

And server class?

Amazon class A, warriorforum class B, wikipedia class C, ....

icanhazcheezburger.com class A, 112 sites, same server.
#1 in it's niche, (actually multiple), loved by google.

The only reasons for multiple ips is for diversity in case unforeseen
things happen.

Lightbulb Re: Dedicated Ips On VPS Should Be C-Class Ips?

Here are the basics.... If you are looking to create a blog/link network (linking to each other or to your money site) then you will want separate C Class IP addresses for two reasons. 1. It will look to Google like these links are coming from separate servers (in addition to separate domain). This is key in hiding your link network. 2. If google was to ban any of the domains (by server - C Class IP Address) your other sites would not be effected.

The other thing you should take into consideration is Shared / VPS / Dedictated Servers. Shared are an absolute NIGHTMARE... my experience with SEOHosting.com (a HostGator Company) has been terrible. Experience has taught me quality cost less in the long run. Look at Virtual Private Servers or Dedicated Servers -- until you have been through the exercise of moving tons of domains from one hosting company to another you can not appreciate this fact.

Good luck.
