| Hello, I’ve taken all the usual steps to get indexed by Google (XML sitemap, pingomatic, etc.) to no avail. Google has not indexed my site in six days (the last week or so it was stopping by every two days, but it needs to come by more often), and you can’t find my site on Google Blog Search at all. This is major problem since I have a deal-focused web site with posts that are highly time-sensitive. I really do not know what to do. I was on Blogger up until mid-December when I had a WordPress pro move me over to WP. Ever since then my stats have been in the tank. Last week it started finding some recent pages in Google Blog Search but then I started to look again today and it’s not finding anything. I only see pages from before mid-December, back when I was still on Blogger. And even then, very few are indexed. I do around 5-8 posts a day and only one post shows up every few days. Anyway, any thoughts or tips would be extremely appreciated. It’s been eight months now since I’ve had this problem and I’m totally at wits end. I have a Page Rank of 6 but apparently that does not seem to matter in terms of my being found. I can't post links but my site is a dot com that is the same as my username here. Thanks, Erin |

If you're still not indexed just send me the url and I'll get you indexed. I can usually get a "NEW" site indexed in 24-72 hours.

It is a new site? USfreeads.com (free account) usually gets you listed in 72 hours or less. Not high ranked but indexed nonetheless. I have used it as recently as last week and got the site indexed in less than 24 hours. One I did for a friend and he was listed in 6 hours in Google. Type sweet motocross helmets and you'll find it in google. Note, it is not a replacement for quality back links, but if you just need to be indexed quickly it works well. |

My site is not new. I've had it for more than two years, and made the switch from Blogger to WordPress about 8 months ago. I know it was a good idea to move over to WordPress, but ever since then, I feel like I've been totally penalized by Google.

Your site is indexed fine. It even returns your page for "couponcravings" so Google has no issues with your domain...it doesn't appear to be even penalised. It is also returning your pages for unique phrases. I googled "it’s a free rewards program where you can earn points for doing web searches, online shopping, taking polls and more" and it returned your page at #1." If you aren't showing up for specific keywords then your site isn't seen as relevant enough and you need to sort out your SEO. |

thanks fraggler for checkin that out.. wasn't sure of the domain name and didn't want to make any assumptions.. wonder if he was aware of how to check to see if the site was indexed.. probably just not finding the site for a specific keyword

Based on your user name I assume your site is Coupon Cravings | Freebies, Coupons, Shopping Deals + More! There is one huge problem that I noticed that could be affecting your site and that is that you have so many ads it's significantly slowing down your site's load time. I'm seeing load times in excess of 10 seconds and the bulk of it is coming from the huge number of ads, badges and graphics you're loading. As for indexing, I'm showing you with 3000+ pages indexed, is that about right? Other than that you will want to build links to your internal pages. They don't have to be strong links, your site is already PR6 and appears to be doing well in the link department over all. All you need are just some basic social bookmarking links for each post. |

I have to agree with bgmacaw and Steven. The loading time could be the problem. Google loves speed. Hardi |
