Recently, i came to know about geo meta tags but i have not used it yet. Is it good for SEO?

I think Google already knows depending on where you're hosted along with a series of other considerations.

Seems almost redundant that one would get geo tags and hcards, but I have been known to do it. It is better to have a real address and phone number somewhere on your page, helps the overall trust factor. geo tag and hcards are a double sword too, if you are in a far off city trying to rank for the major metropolis and you put down your local address in the tags, you will have a harder time ranking.
