Default Hiding Keywords On A Page (tiny white font color on white background)

There is a skateboard company in Australia that just designed new site, I told them they should have 800 keyword rich text on homepage.

Then they asked me this question:

If there is a way for us to put that kind of words "hidden"...as he likes the format that everything on the homepage is within site and nothing has to scroll down much. Advise?

So they would what to put keywords in white on white background in really small font.

Thanks in advance! And hopefully some given thanks for your replies.

Don't do it.
Hidden text and links - Webmaster Tools Help
Quote:
Hiding text or links in your content can cause your site to be perceived as untrustworthy since it presents information to search engines differently than to visitors. Text (such as excessive keywords) can be hidden in several ways, including:

* Using white text on a white background
* Including text behind an image
* Using CSS to hide text
* Setting the font size to 0

If your site is perceived to contain hidden text and links that are deceptive in intent, your site may be removed from the Google index, and will not appear in search results pages. When evaluating your site to see if it includes hidden text or links, look for anything that's not easily viewable by visitors of your site. Are any text or links there solely for search engines rather than visitors?
You will be back wondering why you got them banned.

There was another thread around keyword stuffing. This would be an example of
that as well.

On my wordpress site because spacing is a right pain in the arse. I use full stops that are coloured white as spacers, is this infringing the rules?

No. There are several totally legit reasons to hide text. What matters is if you're doing it solely for SEO purposes.

This statement (highlight it to see) is an example of such a case: {Some entertainment forums and blogs use hidden text to hide spoilers} Other sites that use certain Javascript/AJAX techniques may not display all of the text. Flash based sites sometimes have alternative text/HTML for non-Flash users that's hidden to Flash users. Basically, if the background colored or otherwise hidden text has a legit reason for being there it won't be a problem.
