Hey there Rico is here, I have a really important question to all the SEO experts, I was working on SEO Friendly Squeeze pages and Blogs for something like 8 months till now and i NEVER had this kind of issues - EVERY website i built was indexed in no more than 24 Hours on google (I'm HTML, CSS and PHP Expert). Now here is the question, i made an automatic Blog for testing purposes and it's UP & RUNNING for a week now EEK! but for some reason the big G is not indexing me and i think i got banned from the SE for a while lol.. my domain name have - in it [ XXX-XXX.com ] and every day when i try to search for [ inurl:XXX-XXX.com ] i get couple of pages with results of other websites with this words in it and like 50 websites with the backlinks to my website (I did around 7-8 BackLinks every day). Can i imagine that the reason for banning me from the SE is the Auto Content? I Don't know... Maybe someone has this problem in the past and can help me with this one? I will really appreciate any help on this subject. Thanks, Rico S.

It can take longer than a week! Do you have a lot of content on the site?

Yeah, I also have a domain which doesn't have a "-" between keywords but Google took a week to index it. Hyphen doesn't affect the index rate of Google. Maybe you should wait more.

I've had my newest site for about a week and it has a dash so I could get the keywords in it and get a .com. It currently ranks #4 for the keyword in the domain.

Hyphens have nothing at all to do with it. And as someone who has put up a ton of sites in my time, there's no question that Google's indexing timeframe can be wildly erratic. If a month goes by and still nothing, worry. One week is nothing. John |

1 Week is not a long time to index a new site. Give it a few more weeks before you start to worry!
