Default Multiple Domain SEO Redirection Question

Hi folks,
Have a question that is beyond my scope of knowledge, but may not be tricky to others here...

My plan is to purchase three domains with similar meanings and similar "search value".
Since the plans for my site are extensive, I will only be building it on a single domain with the others redirected to the main site.

My question is this...
Is there a way to perform extensive SEO on the domains that I'm using for redirects and a way to have them gain the same kind of "juice" that the main domain/site will be getting as content is added?

Any help on how to do this is appreciated.

I am soon heading out for the weekend, so please don't think I've abandoned my own thread...and I thank all who participate in advance.

Default Re: Multiple Domain SEO Redirection Question

It's simple enough: build some links to the redirected domain URLs. By the way, domain names are powerful only if there's an exact match with a search term/phrase (some even say that hyphens in the domain name weaken it, though I am not convinced that it's true).

This method used to be more effective: 301 redirects from other domains appear to have recently been diluted by Google. Still, you are likely get some benefit out of it. Just don't use no more than a small handful of such redirects.

I agree with your decision to keep all your content on one site, that's best for SEO. Microsites are not an option that I recommend in the general case.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Phillip...
My mind had apparently complicated things where they didn't need to.

Your advice helps tremendously.
