Hi gang, if one bases all their seo decisions on what's being bandied about in this forum, other forums, and marketing ezines we sub to... it's been said that classified ads sites no longer pass on Google Juice because they've gone the way of FFA links and link farms. that being said I can SEE in my own local niche that SOME classified ads sites are showing up in the serps for the local businesses that I do SEO for. ... Do you all think that Google uses a cut off point? A certain number of links on a page that Google's algorythim says to itself... "this looks spammy to me, I dunno yet but if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck..." ![]() So.. I'm gonna test the waters and test them with a blogger blog for my clients. I'm gonna test with a blogger blog because they're throw away. No harm done to my client if the blog gets penalized. ![]() Any consensus with my thinking gang? ... Can some body gimme a list of classified ads sites for me to test with? thanks |

I am not sure about the link juice effect of classified ads sites. But google does frown upon pages with more than certain number of outgoing links. I can't say the exact number of links, but google suggests us to keep the links less than 100 on a webpage.
