Hello guys, Last week I have noticed that one of my site's Adsense clicks are disappearing, but the numbers of visitors are the same as always and the site is # 1 on G. Before I get about ~ 20 clicks per day, but right now only 9 - 5 and lower. Today I see only 1!? Why is this happening, does anyone experiencing anything like that? Or maybe it's because I placed another block of ads on the right side 160x600? (I was always using 336x280 on top) Please any ideas?? Thanks a lot for your help! |

I haven't experienced anything like that. May be problem with your ad placement. Did you made some changes in your site recently? |

It was approximately a week ago when Google introduced a new layout for some of their Adsense adblocks (including the 336x280). My own (as well as many other peoples, it seems) CTR dropped after this change. It took a different colour scheme configuration to bring the CTR back to what it was before.

Bear in mind however that this data isn't intended to precisely gauge the number of people who utilize the content network (Adsense), as some of the advertisers included within those statistics may well have chosen to exclude their advertisements from the content network. That's about the best shot you'll have of being able to determine anything up-front, however, unless you know someone else who already earns from Adsense within your desired niche (but I think it's unlikely they'd ever be willing to give out too much information so as to keep SEO competition as light as possible).

Yes it helped and my clicks are back, but the numbers are not the same, like before so I'm thinking maybe its because of these changes which you mentioned. They have definitely something changed, because all this week in my ad blocks, I can see changes also, the advertising site's links are on the right side, near the Title, not on the bottom after the description like before. I start thinking maybe there are some good adsense alternatives? I have heard adbrite works very well? Thanks guys!
