How the heck to you get people to click on you Adwords ads? Maybe I am missing something here. I thought money would be flying out of my Adwords account. It hasn't budged. I haven't even spent $0.01 yet. What is the traffic Frank Kern is talking about when he says he spends $20,000 in a month on traffic??? I'm confused...again... |

Its going to depend on the keywords you chose and your biding price. It your adwords keywords are very competitive, you are going to have to spend a lot more to get impressions. Is google doing the the biding for you or do you have a manual limit set (CPC)? |

Traffic from Adwords is easy. You need to make sure the right people are seeing the right ad. That is the general idea. Since you are not giving out any specifics I cannot comment on why you are not getting traffic. Brandon |

Here are a couple of things that matter when it comes to click thru rate: 1. Ad Impressions The impressions depend on how much you are bidding (more or less than your competition) and also how much search volume a certain keyword has. 2. Quality of ad Is your ad interesting, shocking, cute etc. enough that people will choose to click on it rather than 20 other results on that page? |

Everything about ad is copywriting. You should write with basic rules such as: - use numbers in your ads (lose 14kg in 8 months) - use timeframe (lose 14kg in 8 months) - ask the problem (are u looking for weight loss product?) |

When one searches for "student loan consolidation," Your ad says,"Easy and Fast Student Loan Consolidation." You want laser targeting. Your ad MUST show on pages exactly for what people are searching for. You can only achieve this through testing. You are looking for ads and keywords that match up. The more they match up, the more clicks you get. The more clicks you get, the more google likes you and gives you a break. Everything is related. The pages your ad shows up on, your ad title, ad copy, your targeted landing page. Here's a very well known (but first overlooked) tip: Negative keywords. Negative keywords can kill your click through rate. Think. Even go to google's search page and start typing. See what pops up. Test, test, test. For most people, adwords is a long learning curve. You can't be short of money and fearful of failing and testing. Continuing with that thought, contrary to popular belief, you MUST bid for the highest possible spot. If you are not willing to bid on the highest spot, well, go in peace. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on that. No problem. I won't argue. The fact remains that the higher click-thru you get, your quality score goes up, and, get this, you may get the top spot cheaper! That's another little known secret. Paul |

Two factors...
The traffic (amount of people searching for your keyword in the search engines) plays a critical factor in how many impressions you receive. Low traffic means less people seeing your ad...while high traffic means more people. Most importantly, although your ad may receive many impressions...if your ad copy is off then you won't receive any clicks. You must learn how to write a compelling ad that will target the prospects you want clicking your ad. |
