I'm talking about the Traffic Travis "SEO Analysis" tool where you type in a keyword and it analyzes the top 10 or top 20 sites in relation to those keywords. What it does after analyzing is it tells you if it is "Relatively Easy", "Medium Difficult", "Difficult", "Very Difficult", to reach high first page rankings for the keyword. How accurate is Traffic Travis's assessments? FYI, they analyze pagerank, backlinks to the page, backlinks to the site, age, number of backlinks from .edu/.gov, DMoz, Yahoo Directory Listings, Title, Meta-description, H1, age in days of Google's cached version of the sites. After analyzing all this the software gives you the "difficult" or "relatively easy" rankings. Anyone has any experience with this Traffic Travis competition analysis tool? How accurate is it? |

Ignore the difficulty rating. I think it's way off base. Use your own judgement based on things like if the site is deliberately optimizing for the keyword, is it an established site with high PR, etc. Tina |
