I have a website that has said "Coming Soon" for a few years. This was a site that we never got around to doing. It is simply an image that says coming soon with no text. In June 2010, Google showed a cached version of the index page and there were no meta tags on the site even though I had placed them there about a year ago. Then, in July, the index page with the meta tags showed up in Google cache. Is it possible to have an old cache from over a year ago then all of a sudden it shows up in the cache of Google? Can a cache be that old? Thanks for you help |

Apparently Coming soon was not soon enough. I have no idea when google Cache's pages. Perhaps it will come naturally after a couple google bot crawls.

Thanks for the response. My question was though is it possible to have a cached page for a year without being updated by Google cache? I was seeing a site from about 1 year ago.
