I want to include a youtube video into my landing page on an existing running campaign. Can I do it live of should I make a new ad with the new landing page on a different URL and have it approved by Adwords first? I don't want to run into problems or have my acount banned for changing the code on my landing page. Anyone done changes to a landing page on a live Adwords campaign? |

You don't have to create a new url. People don't realize the better you optimize your landing page, the better. Just make sure you are making the landing page "better." It can improve your quality score. The flip side is that you create a lousy page. But then, we all know you won't. ![]() It might stay the same. Strive for a better score. I will refrain from making personal comments about a video on a landing page. I see nothing wrong with changing a live landing page. Either way, if google hates it, they'll let you know. Paul |

This is what I decided to do - do you think it's a good idea or not? Uploaded a new landing page (different page name) taht looks identical to the existing one but WITH the video on it and changed the destination URL on just one of my ads and sent it for approval. I want to see if quality score will go up and if conversions will be higher; if yes, I will change all other ads. | |
