Seo Warriors plz share ur secrets on how to index backlinks

I know this has been asked a lot of time on this forum.We all know that if backlinks are not indexed then there wont be any link juice flowing.But the question is how to get them indexed?Posting on blogs,rss feeds or any other method.Social bookmarking doesnt work,i tested it and so please dont say anything about bookmarking.

If you have a link on a page and that page is indexed in google it is going to be counted as a backlinks unless something fishy is going on.

If there is at least one link pointing to the page that is linking out Google is going to find it. If Google isn't finding it then the page is either being restricted by robots.txt or META noindex or they have some other problem with it.

Years ago it took FOREVER to get a page indexed, but anymore they find it very quickly... usually within a day, sometimes within an hour.

I don't give any thought to getting my backlinks indexed.

Here's how I look at it, if Google can't find the backlinks I built on their own, then those links were completely worthless and if they're worthless, then Google won't give me any credit for having them in the first place.

To the OP, the best backlinks to have are "relevant" backlinks. I look to find a blog footprint and do a search like: "blog footprint" + keyword . This allows you to find relevant blogs on your topic that you can actually comment on and drop your link for. The more relevant the backlinks are to your website the better the backlink is valued by big G.

I think Terry Kyle has proven that this theory is wrong. Getting relveant backlinks is nice but it has not better effect than any other backlink.

Why would you need to index a backlink?

That tells me one thing: you're creating backlinks in places with low/no crawl/index rate. And that is somewhat wrong, don't you think?

We have thousands of places with good crawl/index rates to create backlinks.

Use them.

I build them, I leave them and walk away. If the location I leave them in is worth participating, I participate. They will be found eventually. And besides, Google will never show you their whole hand when it comes to indexing anyway. The best list is the list you keep for yourself. And even that list will be wrong. I have had people take my content, post it elsewhere, leaving all the credit to me and my links in place, which is fine by me. How on earth can I prevent or track that? I can't. So, having said all that, don't worry about where they are. Just keep building.

Ive spent considerable time and treasure testing methods to get pages and more importantly pages that have backlinks on them ... indexed by google. Not merely indexed by google but Cached by google as well.

Why does google have two levels to their index?

A cached ... level? No one knows for sure but, why does some content show in the index temporarily, and other content/pages end up getting cached?

Now in the context of pages where backlinks are ... profiles for example ... we want credit for these and Terry Kyle and Tom Goodwin on backlinks forum have proven [ had to my self but not documented it and spent as much time and money doing so] - without doubt that google, depsite their FUD tactics will still rank pages hioghly in their serps with enough diverse pages of low quality links [ links on pages sans PR or authority ]

Frankly its basically irrefutable at this point.


For all the proponents of only linking on sites that "get crawled regularly" ... pffff ... shortsighted and fankly poor seo advice - IMHO.

I have links on highly crawled blog and article directories - that have all the seo BS on them that there is to install - site maps - seo platinum blah blah blah ... but ... on some of these sites - no, a lot of these sites ... once your page/post/article rolls off their highly crawled pr 3 / pr 5 / pr 0 front page and into the category or author section ... you vanish from the google index. Google bot found your article at url x ... now its actually on url "y" in the archives or on a category portion of the site - and larger sites - G bot MAY NOT go that deep to re-find your post.

This is a double problem for SEO.

1. you had a backlink instantly off their highly crawled front page ... then < 48 hrs later ... you no longer exist there. Google bot at times will recheck your link profile and find your backlink no longer exists. So you had a link and now you dont ... x 100 or 1,000's Hope google finds those again deep in the bowels of that "highly crawled site" - else youre losing links faster than your making them.

2. Now how do you get google bot back there to the real article url to re index that permant resting place of the content and the backlinks?

Fair enough. I have thought about it, and tested it. Now I stuff my pages with my backlinks on them into googles index and get them cached. I dont leave it to chance. The number of places of highly traffic'd "quality" link sites is too few and far between - and your pr 0 "quality page" is no more valuable than my rarely crawled pr 0 page... except i can get 100x more of mine than you can of yours and I can automate it ALL.... and force feed it to google on autopilot.

I truly do not want to be combatitve.

So I ask humbly, can you link us to some credible material that gives us evidence that these types of links will better propel our pages in googles SERP's? Ive been looking for it for well over a year, almost 2.

I put my backlink profiles on links2rss.com then feed them off my website into some RSS feed sites, certainly helps indexing.

The bottom line is that anyone who believes the nonsense about only building relevant links and not using "spam" links like profile and blog links, is only hurting their own chances of ranking. Sorry but that's the harsh truth, as anyone who has actually tested over a period of time will tell you.

Here's what I do... I use a proven system to index backlinks,
and most internet marketers have agreed to this process: How To Index Links on Google

So here are the main factors.
1) Login to your Google Account and go to: Google Alerts Page.
2) Create an alert to the EXACT URL of your backlinks page.
*not to your page or a domain* Just the exact backlinks page you're linked on.
3) Register the alert for notifications as soon as its indexed.

This is a trigger for Google to realize that they should be looking
for that page, so they do their best to crawl those keywords/url
and alert (you) about the content being indexed by Google.

Google dosen't display all backlinks from what I've read.
