Ok this might be a stupid question, or maybe i'm doing something wrong. When i'm not signed into my google account and i use google keyword tool to search keywords, it shows way more global/local searches than when i'm logged into google for some reason. Why is this? For example, i searched a term and it showed like 4k searches on exact match while signed out. I signed into my google account, did the same search for exact match and it showed like 600 searches for the same term. Which is correct? Why does it do this? Is there some setting i'm getting wrong? I'm sure that i have the "exact match" box checked both times, and yet the SAME TERM shows FAR different results when signed out than when signed into google. Anyone else notice this? Which numbers do you go by? I spent 2 hours yesterday researching a ton of keywords, and i hope i wasn't going by the wrong numbers. I was going by the numbers showing when i'm not signed in to google. These numbers are higher than signed in, |

I was just in the another thread...I am going to suggest that you use market samurai..this tool has helped out. But in regards to your issue...I can recommend that you clear your google and googleadservices cookies.
