In terms of potentially getting deindexed by google if they ever found your MFA sites, does mixing up the template every couple sites make any difference in googles ability to track your network of sites? Or will they still find all your sites and destroy them all? Is there any reason to use more than 1 template layout for all your MFA sites?

I have over 25 sites with the same template but as a precaution I change the width of the table, the backgorund colour, the sidebar colour, footer colour etc. | |

The theme of the site is going to be the least of your problems. If your site is useful to the reader then Google won't have any reason to try and track down your other sites. They don't need a theme footprint to track you down either - your AdSense ID is kind of a giveaway. If you have a great performing theme that provides easy navigation and decent original content then you should be cool bananas. Even the default Wordpress theme can be made to work really well, and changing the header image can make it feel original, anyway. |

The templates really don't matter, you can replicate the template on multiple sites. Just for diversity I would change the color schemes up though.
