Hi, I am reading a beginner guide for seo now and I am at this topic about anchor text. I am advise to choose a descriptive text as my actor text. So my question is, is this anchor text referring to text from my website or anchor text for another website to my side? I mean the guide mention the anchor text should tell google what my side is linking to is about but must the website that link to my side be of the same theme as mine? In that case will my signature in this forum useful? Please advise me. |

Anchor text applies to all links including the ones in your own domain linking to pages or posts on your own domain.

I have some noob questions. Does using "url" or "a href" in backlinks make any difference? Also, why is it that when I do a check on my backlinks in those backlinks checking websites, the anchor text do not turn up? Would be great if anybody could enlighten me. |

i think here we have to type of question .. so i m confused in both ...? BTW first one is really important and good question ... anchor text tell us what our site is all about ... so it will be better if you use same theme sites where we can add our sites anchor text... Good Luck |
