I always find keyword research much easier than backlinking maybe i dont have enough patience for backlinks to work or god knows what. I basically rely on adsense and it is giving me almost decent income, but once i launch my site i often get stuck with the backlinking hassle. I even bought scrapebox and that was such a waste of my money .This is what i do after launching a website. Submit articles, submit press release, bookmark, build some profile links and ping them over a period of few days. What do you guys do? |

It's not that one is harder than the other, it's just that you can find a good niche or keyword in a few minutes, but building backlinks you have to do continually. Andrew |

| If you have active competition in a niche, you will need to continuously add backlinks....even in micro-niches. If there is no competition or the competition is not active, then you don't. Search engine marketers like to view a #1 ranking as the destination but just like all competitive things, once you are a leader, it only means that others will be chasing you.... |

... many people claim they've got gud results, somehow i cant believe it, again because of the PR factor. When i submit my press releases, most of the sites have pr 3 or 4 or 2 on the pr content page, but profiles are PR - . I may be wrong though

Of course making backlinks is harder that finding keywords. You can find hundred of keywords daily but You can not make a lot of backlinks. But it has a good aspect too. When you can't make a lot of backlinks every day, you are sure that your website will not be penalized by Google |

OK, let us say you created 100 blogger blogs and your goal is to build them up so as serve you. Working 10 hours per day that leaves six mins per blog. If you take time out to eat and do other things you have only five minutes per post. That is in five minutes in which you must type your 200 word min. Also you have to submit your stories to social media in hopes of gaining some links to them and traffic for you. This can be automated, but it is still work that consumes your resources. It is real scary. Still, you must also trade links with friends so that not all your links come from your 100 blogs. This means phone calls and emails, so get going. It is time to start building a few links right now. |

Create a link building plan and strategy. Create some video content to demonstrate how to do it and outsource it so it is done continually.

My main concern is value of backlink. I trust article marketing and PR because of its value and also because the content is syndicated. Blog commenting is the next thing m gonna try, i might outsource it but ive seen people getting good results with it

Finding keywords and getting backlinks, all points to the same thing. Finding out what the competition is doing. Observe their status/rankings and then see where they get their backlinks from. Doing competitive analysis makes things much easier! |

| Links don't always "stick". I.e. they get deleted or drop off the front page of a blog or whatever. When you see this it just means that Yahoo hasn't noticed the link has gone, yet.

I'd outsource this as it is really inexpensive these days, and this frees you up to spend your time on more valuable activities. | |
