Default ADSENSE FOR DOMAIN IS MAKING PEOPLE CRAZY IN NIGERIA!

Dear Warriors,
I am a Nigerian ,at least I cant deny that, could I? I love my country.

I also know that there top gun gurus here and I sincerely need your help.

There is a new trend in my country and it the adsense for domain fever.

A notable internet marketing guru is doing some magic that I dont understand. He introduced this adsense for domain into the country some couple of months back and how he gets instant traffic is what baffles me.

This how it happens:

He organizes a seminar and randomly pick 2-3 people from the audience, get their adsense account mostly with zero earnings and then in the next 2-3 hours, they find over 100 euros in their account. He has done this at 3 different seminars

My Question is,how is it possible to get instant traffic to parked domain within 2-3 without a list? Did mention with over 100 impression?

Please help because this is really amazing!

He is a scammer. It is usually done in one of two ways.
1. Assistants is clicking the ads during the seminar to show how good he is. This is likely to cause the randomly choosen persons to get banned.
2. The random persons are not randomly choosen but assistants and the domains are choosen to be high earning and have been worked on in advance.

3. Both. The people chosen are in on the scam and have already established a sham AdSense account which they don't care about. When it gets banned for click fraud, they don't care, because their real game is shilling for the scammer - who has sold his product to the audience already, and disappeared into the aether with the money where he paid the shills their agreed-upon fees. The shills will just fraudulently set up a new AdSense account and do nothing with it (producing zero earnings) until the next seminar.

yep. I purchased his ebook and to my surprise, non of the traffic method in the traffic would generate instant traffic if you try it. I needed not to try before I asked him for my money back and he gave it. I really dont know why people in my country do this? I have leaved by the principle that my conscience is very important in any thing that I do.

It is quite complex you know. It is only in my country that you see people who do not really do affiliate marketing yet the are organizing seminars and teaching people how to make money from affiliate marketing... My heart aches because This is not producing positive result at all due to the fact the teachers lack the experience but have the theory!

No. It's not.

Nigeria is growing fast. That's like mother's milk to the scam artist.

It's also very poor. That produces a lot of moral ambiguity; morality is, after all, a luxury.

So we have a "perfect storm" of many people willing to run scams because they are desperate, and an environment which is particularly attractive for scams.

Every developed country on the planet went through this stage.

As it developed, the people became less desperate, and the environment became less attractive - because more people start demanding that laws be put in place to find and stop scammers.

Yes, right now, there are many Nigerian popular songs about 419 scams. Yes, people dance in the street crying aloud about how the mugu has paid, and others congratulate them.

These people never go away. They just grow smaller in number, over time, and we are already seeing a massive pushback from legitimate, honest businessmen (and women) in Nigeria.

That's the beginning. There's going to be a hard road ahead for a while, but the "legitimate and honest" camp is going to win.

Meanwhile, here in America... yes, people are selling affiliate marketing products and coaching when they don't know squat about it. But it's a big country, and there aren't as many of them, so they're near-invisible. You can frequently find them in the WSO forum, with 4 posts, member since this month - selling a product about affiliate marketing, while asking in some other forum thread how to drive traffic to a website and what PPC stands for.

But they're massively outnumbered, both here and elsewhere, by people who really do know what they're saying. And Nigeria, in the end, will be no different.

And anyone who isn't admiring the people and the country of Nigeria right now has simply not been paying attention. You guys are awesome. The hardships and lack of support you have to fight is one thing, and the heavy cultural pressure to join the scammers is another, and watching you guys get up every day and keep fighting "the good fight" inspires the hell out of me.

You, Yommies, Shiloh, Ngwu... I applaud you and all your countrymen. You embody the Warrior spirit in a way that few Warriors truly grasp or understand.

Thanks man! I am glad that some people out side still believe Nigeria is Great country.
As for yommis01, he is my mentor on site flipping and very soon I will be flipping my first website , I made one sale and one refund so I was thinking of placing the price at $350. I could not drive much traffic to the site because ,just as you said, we have a lot of challenges that we have to over come such as power supply.

Not always having access to the internet and so on... But I am not going to give up as i have planned to use the site flipping business to sponsor my education.

Yommie story have been really inspiring to and he as be really helpful

All of Africa is beautiful and most of the people proud and honorable. That said, many growing pains! It is certainly a rough patch and due to colonization back-lash, has left the continent open to some shady players. (enough said).
Anyway, be proud of who YOU are and hold your head high. You are not the only one that has gone through feeling like you are in the minority. Do what YOU know to be right and in the end, you will be better for it.

Unfortunately as much as I dislike stereo types Nigeria does have a much higher level of 'How can we scam' mentality. I am a proud African (many don't believe there are white Africans my generations have been here for 200 years so that makes me African). Here in South Africa most of the offline scams are perpetrated by Nigerians.

That having been said there are many great people also in that country that will be painted with the same brush as the scammers ... so the truth is any of us from Africa and especially Nigeria will have to work harder to earn the trust of those on the internet and once you have the trust you can easily lose it again by doing something silly.

My suggestion is do not go to any live seminars in Nigeria unless you have concrete proof that the person has a good online reputation. Even then I think there will still be better information on this forum than any seminar in Nigeria with far less risk.

I have been approached by Nigerians 30 times for various scams so again I hate stereo types its just difficult from my personal experience to Ignore it

Edit : I made this post before reading the full thread. I apologize for being harsh on you Jide but I will keep the original post intact.

I am not going to mention names but sincerely it is a scam. I have had 3 people complain to me. People like you Jide who always think the grass is greener on the other side get burnt at the end.

Try it, call me ( you still have my number right? ) when you have lost some money.

I didn't read the full post before I posted but what the guy is doing is absolutely illegal. I have had someone lose $200 two times ( $400 in total ) in a supposed adsense account.

Jide, if you will take my advise, don't go for it. It is a trend, I have seen many ads in popular newspaper ( name withheld ) about it but I hope the editor ( who I call Daddy ) gets to realize what is going on is a big fraud that could ruin everything for his paper.

Wow. And to think that hundreds of legitimate businesses and starting Internet Marketers have trouble getting a foothold while guys like that scam people.

Thanks for posting about this. I'll be sure to warn a few people I know who have been looking for quick adsense money to steer clear of anything that sounds like this.

Be careful when you warn people about anything related to NIGERIA ( it is dicey ). Ensure you don't send the wrong message out to people as not everyone is bad.

If he is taking it as business then it is just a matter of time before that paper crashes. I love the paper, they are part of who I am today but in all honesty, it is becoming annoying.

As for listing your site, call me on phone tomorrow. Don't call me tonight my phone is gone for the day.

Related point.

Scammers move around.

If the word gets out that you can't run scams in Nigeria, the scammers pack up and go somewhere else.

The advance-fee scam that people frequently call the "Nigerian scam," for example, is now being run primarily from Russia and Scotland.

Meanwhile, if that word is causing legitimate businessmen in Nigeria to struggle, they're not packing up and going anywhere.

They live here.

So keep in mind, whenever you discuss a scam, that where these people live is not part of the scam. Warn people about what they are doing, because they can generally do it from anywhere.

That's right. Most of the Nigerian Scammers are heading to Malaysia now. That is where most guys go as a result increasing investigation to catch them. The security level in Nigeria are doing their best and we can only hope and pray that they do not relent.

Mostly every spam mail in my account is from a Nigerian scammer telling me his great grandfather was a billionaire who is now on his deathbed and wants to share his cash for the better of the nation.

You know how I respond...Sure, give me YOUR bank details and email contact, tel etc and I will gladly help you ;-)

He organizes a seminar and randomly pick 2-3 people from the audience, get their adsense account mostly with zero earnings and then in the next 2-3 hours, they find over 100 euros in their account. He has done this at 3 different seminars

Maybe there are people clicking the ads for him that's why the account had accumulated such earnings.

10. Martin Frankel - $200 million + Rip Off

Sadly, these top ten white collar crimes [in the world] are not even the tip of the iceberg for US soil! It would be a fair statement to say that the US is the white collar fraud capital of the world!

BUT, it sounds sexy when the US media says, "Nigerian scams."

This just in >>> 3 Houston Men Charged With Stealing $103 Million in Life Insurance Fraud >>> Houston- based A&O Resource Management Ltd. There are some investors who are taking Maalox right about now. Hopefully no one in the WF had money invested in A&O Resource Management Ltd.

From your description, sounds like just another Nigerian scammer to me.

Surprising he's only keeping this one in country this time. ;0)

Wish you and Truth all luck. Eradicate the menace to the extent that you can - that is one of the best community services that one could ever hope to provide.

Very honestly, if someone takes a great stride and does a lot to achieve most of it, to me that would be a Nobel-winning job and I literally mean it.

1. Invest $1. Cut you backlinking by 50%+. Click here. Seduce Google.
2. Find tons of high-commission easy in less than a minute here.
3. War Room release on off-page SEO: Gege Robohop -"Incredible", say Warriors
4. Mindset matters. Look at my last year - nothing to do with IM.

Sadly, you are RIGHT there. Though the ones you mentioned above generally didn't hunt out people and set things up to rip off every penny. Out of the ones you listed, that I know about, one could argue that ENRON was, BY FAR, the worst since they bought companies, switched pension investments(thereby stealing ALL they made, and maybe their WHOLE retirement), and switched off and gambled on power, thereby ripping off MILLIONS, and possibly killing a few! Stanford and madoff, for example, got verious people to invest what should have been only part of their funds, and took no more.

Many 419 scams try to set even poor people up so EVERY penny can be taken.

So I don't think I would point even to ENRON to say "The US is just as bad"!

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!! had to use caps cos this is really serious issue here.
I am a Nigerian, working as a civil engineer in day time and doing internet marketing part time for now until in can make enough to quit my 9-5 that i hate doing.
This is the problem i have been having so far.
For one thing it's very hard to do business online as a Nigerian because my "fellow brothers" here have made it impossible to succeed as Nigeria has a very negative image both on and offline, people don't want to do business with you the minute the find out your are Nigerian.
Secondly like jideofor rightly said the so called Nigerian gurus are thriving on the innocence and gullibility of other Nigerians who are looking for legit sources of income online to supplement the meager income they make from their jobs, they are organizing seminars, selling products they don't even own as their own all with a promise to solve all your money need and my people are trooping in to pay money into their bank accounts for the seminars.
Thirdly and very importantly for me personally is the problem with payment solutions, as you know i cant own a paypal account as Nigerians are not accepted and credit cards from Nigeria are not accepted, so am trying to make payments with my hard earned money for services i believe will help me get my online business off and running so recently i paid for a seminar on payment solutions for Nigerians and after i invest my money in the payment solution provider i cant even use the it to make payment for some godaddy domains i wanted to register, been visiting the "complete websites for sale" section here hoping to take advantage of some really good deals but i cant make payment cos of same problem.
So for now am stuck on the same problem without knowing what to do about it.
I know there is good money to be made online in a legit way but i cant get in on the good thing JUST BECAUSE I AM A NIGERIAN. I am a honest business person who just happens to be a Nigerian. mmmmhhhhhhhhh............. too bad.

I read with pity and then elation the discussion here. Pity because we Nigerians still are thought to be fraudulent. Elation because there are still people who believe there are honest Nigerians.

About the 'adsense guy', in question. I asked him to show me what he did, he refused by giving so many excuses why we couldn't meet.

The internet marketing thing here is so crazy right now and the noise is well heavy.

Truth is, not may people know who to trust so they trust those that hype themselves. The thing is when we sell bad products, it affects all of us.

Nigerians on the WF, the onus is on us to clean up the internet marketing system in our country.
