Default Do you successfully getting at top 10 google without exact match domain name? What's your effort?

Hello all,

Do you successfully run your blog/website without exact match domain name especially in product reviews affiliate site? What did you do to boost your website ranking and traffic? Do more backlinks, forum and guest posting or any more techniques? Exact match domain name is surely a bonus, but what will you do if you can not get one? Thanks

Yes, I run a forum that ranks well for all kinds of keywords.

What your asking about, is how do you build an authority site. That takes age, backlinks, good content, and lots of search engine optimization on the site.

If you want examples, go take a look at Cnet, download.com, cnn, yahoo news, bbc, foxnews.

Your not going to build an authority site in a couple months, or even a couple of years. Its going to take several years of hard work and dedication.

If you are talking about the effort to get to top-10 in Google with exact match domain name, yes it is easier than a generic domain name. It is also easier to rank with an authority domain that has already been pointed out - you shall need much lesser number of backlinks in this case too than a non-authority non-match.

The exact effort depends, as always, upon the competition. The best one I have got to #1 (not page 1 but actially a #1) with an exact match domain name had 0 links - you read it right, I meant zero - because the compeetition was absurdly low - it was <someone'sname.com> and the name was not so common. And again, for a more competitive thing I would expect you to need a fair amount of backlinking. But overall the task does become a lot easier.

1. Invest $1. Cut you backlinking by 50%+. Click here. Seduce Google.
2. Find tons of high-commission easy in less than a minute here.
3. War Room release on off-page SEO: Gege Robohop -"Incredible", say Warriors
4. Mindset matters. Look at my last year - nothing to do with IM.
