Default Google has blocked my Adwords account (again)

Hi,

About a year ago Google blocked my account without giving a clear reason.
I've tried to get it back up but until now I had no luck.
So I created a new account about 2 weeks ago because I offer webmarketing services to local companies and I really need an Adwords account to test strategies and of course to promote my own company.

Now 1 week further I e-mailed Google to ask why my ads weren't running.
I got a message back saying that my new account or a previous account was against their TOS.

Has anybody in a similar situation got their account back up?
And if yes, how?

If other traffic sources where good for my clients I had no problems with that, but here in The Netherlands everybody uses Google.
People don't even know what Yahoo or Bing is...

I'm looking forward to your replies guys!
Dennis

If you had a previous account suspended/banned, you are not allowed to open a new one.

The only thing you can do, is try and appeal the decision on your previous account.

i guess it all depends on the traffic you and your clients need.

keep this in mind... most of the search traffic goes to the free results (nothing new right)

but you can actually find ways to utilize the other sites in your niche to get tons of traffic.

after hearing all the "complaints" about google adwords and all the people getting shut down i decided to test my method... now keep in mind i was spending at least $500K per year with adwords... and decided to not buy $0.01 of traffic for one year.

turns out it was my most profitable year ever!

now... am i saying not to use adwordws... not at all... if it makes profit.. dont mess with it.

but for those who can't get adwords to work...

There is another way :-)

you do not need your own account to offer services to others, they should just connect to your mcc account, as for your own private account, you can apply back to G for your account to be reviewed or may be do a search on what others have done to overcome this problem.

I've heard bad stories about connecting Adwords accounts to each other when one is already banned. So I won't do that.
I can still work with 10's of different accounts and log-out and in each time.
But that still doesn't give me the opportunity to offer my own services.

A review of my old account would be nice, but it seems no one knows where to request that.

? ? ? create an mcc account and you can run 1000 clent accounts no problems, you just do not to connect your own private account to / not that it can do much anyway until that is resolved but yes you can run your clients / the ban is on your own account only

I'm not sure if he'll be able to create an MCC account but that's his best bet. Of course, he won't be able to advertise himself, simply link client accounts to it. There's also no problem linking to a banned account. I've done it a couple of times with potential already-banned clients so I could evaluate what's going on.

Severt, not meaning to sound harsh or rude but if you are offering web marketing services, you should know of Google's rules and not do anything to put your account - or worse those of clients - in harm's way.

Unfortunately, you may never be able to advertise on Google yourself. Their decision is usually final. They may even have used that term in the email.

Google shut my Adwords account down for something I did back in 2007 or 2008. I started my account in 2006 and tried of course every method & course that came out. So the mistake was easily made...
The campaign wasn't even active anymore, but since I violated their TOS in the past they just blocked my account.

I didn't violate their TOS on purpose.
It could happen to the best because you and I both know nobody really reads all of their conditions...

Don't take it to heart, many people have had their account banned through very poor information that was provided in WSO and is still available in older versions floating around, In addition there are many people on forums and message boards who give wrong information and then affiliate managers themselves who give wrong and misleading information. / I had one the other day from clickbank who provided totaly wrong info that would have anyones account suspended.

All of this and also it is possible that without anything being your fault at all to also be suspended through little black holes often swept under the carpet it is not easy, for sure but your mcc will be / should be fine.

you will need to create a new email address before creating the mcc.

How about opening an account under a relative's name?

According to what I heard, you are only entitled on one Adwords Account. They have probably traced your IP and discovered that you are one and the same account that was banned. Good Luck!
