Hey Warriors! I am a newbie with Adwords Editor. I managed to import all information to Adwords Editor via csv file except the images. I get an error "Failed to read image ad's image data." I tried different ways to import it but get the same error: (Header Name => Field) image name => warriors.jpg (where does editor locate it?) image file name => c:\warriors.jpg image url => http://www.example.com/warriors.jpg Any ideas? ![]() Thanks! |

you may need to load a few images in your adwords account first. | |

Thanks for some ideas tryinhere! I did try the "reverse engineer" method and I think the images were already uploaded to Adword's server by creating image ads under Ad tab. No luck. |

Yep, I tried to search for answers via Adwords Help and Adwords Forum ...I just emailed to Adwords but I believe it would take forever to get their response.

what i can see in editor is you can create manually add a image ad and at the bottom it says upload image / so i would go through that process in the editor rather than adwords then in editor select file / export ? OK from what i see in csv there is no option to allocate a source url for the image in the csv file image name => warriors.jpg (where does editor locate it?) image file name => c:warriors.jpg image url => http://www.example.com/warriors.jpg those 3 columns = image name = my image name display url destination url but i see no image file name / image url ? are these in your csv file ? as i do not have them my guess is this you would upload the csv that would have everything but the images then attach them after to the editor and lastly upload them ? sorry cant help more than that / you need a display network guru here. |
