I've heard of people getting their adsense accounts banned, and others getting their MFA sites banned. My question is, is using Adsense on a niche "MFA Site" against their terms? So if they find your mfa sites and decide to ban them, do they take your adsense account with it? I'm asking because i run some mfa sites, but also a main site. I don't want to risk my main site's adsense revenue for the sake of the small sites, so i'm considering taking adsense off and only running amazon. However, if there's nothing wrong with using adsense on small niche sites, i'd rather keep it there also.

However, if you're just talking about small niche sites you don't have anything to worry about it. If you're using a common MFA theme or something that looks like MFA then you should consider changing your ad placement around a bit, and maybe getting yourself a less MFA looking theme. Google quality reviewers from what I've read give you about a 30 second quality review and if what they see doesn't fit a specific set of criteria, your sites will be de-indexed. I'd say if you're worried about them looking MFA, then they probably are and you should make some changes. If you can operate your sites in good conscience and honestly tell yourself that they provide value and don't look spammy, then let them ride. Adsense bans accounts more on policy violations like the following: Fraudulent Clicks Ads on sites with illegal copyrighted material Images next to ads Arbitrage Traffic Exchanges I haven't read of anyone losing their adsense account over a google quality review, but I may have missed it. But, I would definitely suggest that if your sites look like MFA that you should change the look and feel to put off a more legitimate image. These quality reviewers will give your site 30 seconds to a minute so the biggest thing you should do is make sure your site doesn't put off that MFA vibe.

I had a couple that were de indexed. I have read that it is important to keep adding good quality content and to change your themes. Don't use the same themes on all your sites.

Adsense and web quality are two different divisions at Google and I'd suspect that they've had heated meetings from time to time. The Adsense people are primarily concerned about making money from Adwords advertisers by providing them with good, honest, clicks that convert to sales well. Web quality folks are crusaders who're concerned about combating the nebulous and murky world of 'web spam' and 'evil' SEO and really don't take into consideration that those 1000 Adsense sites they deindexed today were, in part, paying for their free cappuccinos. So, unless you're doing something really, really, bad, primarily something that negatively impacts conversion or Google's reputation as an advertiser, you're unlikely to run into problems with your Adsense account. |

There seems to be some confusion about small niche sites. There are 2 explanations. 1. Small Niche sites: This type of small niche site is a website consisting of anywhere between 5 and 5 million pages that focuses very tightly on a small niche. For example, 4 wheeled plastic coolers, would be considered a small niche. Very tight and highly focused or small. 2. Small Niche Sites: These sites are generally under 10 pages (small) of content. It has been my observation that regardless of the size of the site, if you provide relevant and useful content, big G will leave you alone. Ask yourself this about your sites. If you needed an answer to a question, would you be happy with what you read on your website? If so, great. If not...well |

I got banned for using MFA sites but I had several warning letters from them and so I cannot complain. They will simply send you a standard letter saying that this particular site is in contravention of Google's Webmaster Guidelines and therefore they will no longer disply Adsense ads on that domain. If you ask them to provide more details, they will simply refer you to their Webmaster Quality Guidelines. So sometimes, it is difficult to know exactly which rule I actually contravened. The site that triggered the actual ban was an 8 page mini-site made from an unmodified wikipedia article. One thing that I noted was that the sites for which I received warning letters were already de-indexed. Therefore, it may be a good idea not to leave your adsense codes on de-indexed sites that are not receiving a lot of traffic. |

If you built up your backlinks naturally and provided good content, then there shouldn't have been a problem. It may be a slower process, but it's better than losing your sites or your adense account.

These sites do not rank well or at all. The content was 100% duplicate. In fact, most of these sites had thousands of identical copies on the web. You can buy hundreds of these turnkey sites for a few dollars on eBay. I was hardly earning anything by the time my account was banned, although I have earnt up to $4500 per month before. It is just that Adsense was never my main business model and I did not have time to remove the Adsense codes from hundreds of sites.

It's not necessary for your Adsense account to be banned if your site has been de-indexed or slammed by Google. You're only really in trouble when your site is manually checked by a Google representative and you aren't following one or more of the policies in place. That's when you know you're going to get some chin music. Either, your site will be given a notification (You've to fix the problem with your site within 3 days of the notification) or have your account suspended.

I had my site de-indexed and my adsense account disabled. I had a small sports site with around 40 pages I wrote myself (all unique) The mail I got from adsense stated that I had ignored their quality guidelines. I felt my site was good quality and useful, but, I had a lot of ad's on it. (adsense and amazon) In the mail it does talk about using link schemes to increase PR and I think that is why I got banned, I used a well known blog network to increase rankings. If you are going to put adsense on your sites be very careful how you backlink them! This happened about 2 weeks ago. |

Small niche sites with AdSense are not the problem with Google as long as the quality is high and there is no suspicious backlinking. It is funny how people do 1000s of cheap backlinks for a site that has 2 articles in bad quality in a small niche. Write and create content for the people and earnings will come. |
