Hi, I have setup many Adwords campaigns and I have the following report for each ad in my campaigns: Code: Displaying ads right now? No Quality score 7/10 Keyword relevance: No problems Landing page quality: No problems Landing page load time: No problems How is it possible? Anyone have already experienced such an issue? I've setup one keyword per adgroup and 2 rotating ads for each adgroup and I'm targeting local traffic following keyword tool analysis. Thx for helping. Stephane |

Lots of people are having problems with Adwords at the moment and also some are having their accounts cancelled. I had an email from an 'IM Guru' this morning suggesting switching to Facebook. I tend not to use Adwords anyway but thought I would share what's currently doing the rounds. |

There are many reasons why your ad is not showing. Are you bidding high enough? Others may have a higher QS. Do you have any $$$ left? Don't look for your ads. It only lowers your QS each time they show and no click. Increase your bid... Check your account real close to see if there are any problems... the status, that is. Just a few off the top of my head... Paul |

You say it's a local campaign. Your keywords are just not searched for that much. How big an area? One million people or 25,000? That will have an effect on search volume. What's your budget? I've seen many people set it at $2 per day. That's not going to show your ads very often. What's the competition like? If there's a lot, not only can there be many with better QS, they can be outbidding you and thus outranking you. Note that you are not competing only against local advertisers but those advertising nationally. |

The top CPC is at about $2 and I put $1.11 so it should show up Quote:

Remember that the estimate is $2 which is based on an average QS. You have a QS of 7 but let's assume all competitors do with a few with 8s, 9s and 10s. Let's say that the average bid is $1.50. This means all those bidding that much, in fact as much as you, with better QS, are outranking you. How many of those is there? Also, assuming at least one advertiser in the top three with a QS of 10 and average bids of $1.50, they are paying around $1.05, maybe even less than a dollar. They are paying less than your bid! You say it's a new campaign so you may simply still be under review. See Adwords FAQ for more. | |

It might sound crazy to some, but if you are not willing to bid the max and more, adwords can be an iffy proposition. Remember, that your ads CTR is direct proportion to: Laser targeted>Laser landing page>What is promised Bidding more, improving CTR, actually will lead to a better ROI. That is, you won't have to bid high anymore. Some are just afraid to wade into deep water. You don't want your ad just showing up. You want it showing up and getting a click. Every time your ad shows up and is not clicked, for the little guy, this means bad things. Tweak it. Go to $1.20, $1.30, etc. If you can't or don't want to, then you will have to take what is being given. Paul |

I had my Adwords account suspended due to having links to affiliate programs on my blog. Before my account was suspended I know if I did not have enough money in the budget or my keywords did not produce enough traffic, my ads would stop showing. So my advice is to make sure there is enough money in the accounts budget and ensure the keywords you are using will get enough traffic by using the Adword's traffic estimator tool. You also may need to raise your minimum bid so your ad shows on the first page. Good luck. |

First question, is this an affiliate site? That may be the reason, but your problem is likely your bid price. Very unlikely to be your QS. At a 7/10 you're doing really well and I'll bet the 10 ads being shown for the KW are not all at 7/10 or 10/10 unless this is a branded KW. FYI, there is (almost never) no 8/10 or 9/10. It goes from 7/10 to 10/10. I would bump that CPC up beyond $2 to try and force the ad to be shown. Limit your downside with a small daily budget and set your ads to "accelerated" so the ad will be shown quickly. Cheers, Frank |

We asked Google what was not going well and they said the account is under investigation. Then today we got an e-mail from Google saying the account was suspended for life! haha Well, Google continues this job of suspending people account without any warning and real reasons and we will "love" you in the future... |

Man...that sucks big time! I would say that Google is trying to phase out sites which have a certain "type" of landing page. Such as: -pre-sells -review sites -opt-in pages And also many niches such as make money, weight loss etc. And if they see that you're using any of those pages or in any of those niches...then you're screwed. If you still want to promote affiliate products...a new strategy is needed. |
