Default Does Google Adwords still allows URL redirect?

Hi,

I found a CB product that I want to promote;
I want to register a new web name and promote the product with PPC on Google Adwords,

My idea is to redirect the URL to the vendor website directly: does Google

still allows that? will they just take the money and my ad never show up??

Thank you

No you can not use a redirected / masked domain name / w G, as for taking your money and your ad not showing / drop over and read the terms / rules as you pay nothing unless your ads are clicked / or have impressions.

Google does not like redirects and cloaked links.

I don't think Google likes anything Clickbank related let alone anything that's not your own site.

Google barely will let affiliates promote at all, they don't like landing pages, redirects, thin websites.

It's like they want to be the only game in town.

Yes I stopped advertising with Google and went elsewhere. No redirects allowed.

Wow, so much wrong info.

Redirects are pretty standard and are allowed. Everything I do goes through redirects. It's the only way you can properly track things.
I have no problems as an affiliate. I also don't promote crap products though.

I had ads running with redirect domains but after about 24 hours they always get paused due to "inaccurate display url". You can still get away with it for a bit and get a little keyword data..

I asked google themselves at a talk I was at
If I could advertise affiliate products with adwords I was told No

Considering I would be paying them to so I dont see what the problem is
I am really beginning to hate google

Hi Kirk,
thank you,

it appears there is still a chance to promote CB with Adwords,

may I ask you if your lending page is a review page or a more content rich site?

The OP asked about a masked domain name and to use that as a way to run to the CB product and that is very much not allowed / this will break several rules / one that the content must be original / a masked domain in effect mirrors a site / again not good and defies the URL display rule.

next is a sneaky or wrong URL display / land page which again will break rules / raise the red flag / so a masked domain is no

in you ref yes what you are saying is correct you can use tracking code in the destination URL / redirect / pass through for tracking purposes and yes that is fine as you suggest

here we have apples and pears / cheers

I tried masking domain on adwords but it got suspended so I don't think they allow it. It is getting harder to promote on adwords

You can redirect your little heart out as long as your final resting url is the one you entered as the display url... for example if your display url is mydomain23.com then you can send the landing url to mydomaintracker.com which grabs the track data then forwards to mydomain23.com

So bottom line as long as your final resting place is equal to the display url then you will be ok..

I luv Trucks too....
