Okay guys, I'm still new in IM and I have a question to ask all of you In Yahoo SiteExplorer, the result shows that I have 266 inlinks. When I check with Alexa, it shows none link in. And when I check with another software, it shows 273 backlinks. So who to trust? beside the software I'm using, Yahoo Site Explorer vs Alexa? I hope someone will able to give some advice to me ![]() thanks!!!! |

First off, Alexa will not show you links. Regarding the other 2 sources, 273 vs 2666 is sort of splitting hairs. No tool on the internet is capable of showing you exactly the number of inbound links. I keep a personal record of everywhere I left a link for my sites, and even that is wrong. For example, when I produce content, sometime it is picked up and put on a blog roll or content dump site that I have no control over nor can track. So, don't worry about the correct source, just get a rough idea, and keep building.

Stick to Yahoo Site Explorer. You may also want to use SEO SpyGlass which analyzes links sources from Yahoo Site Explorer.
