SEO question for folder and links

I'm confused in the seo for folder and links.

Suppose I had a folder "A"

Now i created link under folder "A" and named it "B"

Now i want to nofollow only folder "A" not link "B".

Then How to do this.

Suppose if tell robots.txt file not to crawl Folder "A".Will whole folder including link will be nofollowed.

I do not want to crawl category but i want to crawl page under category then.

you can always do it on the navigation just put a rel="nofollow" attribute on his code then your done.
