Although my method is widely used, many people feel overwhelmed with what is involved, which is why only the action takers succeed. Im talking about search engine optimisation. I get free clicks from the search engines from some of the most competitive markets that pay per click advertisers are paying over $10 per click - i laugh at these people. ![]() No, im not talking about low volume, niche markets, im talking about the main -high traffic markets, the ones you are told to stay away from. Maybe i have made it easier for myself by targeting my homeland (google UK), but im still very proud of gaining first page rankings, especially for the main keywords within the web hosting market as this market is fierce. If you are an affiliate like most of us on warrior forum, you may be familiar with how much commissions you can earn from the web hosting market. In fact, im talking at least $100 for a signup on hosting, via CJ. It has taken me 3 months to hit the first page in google UK for 4 of my main keywords, but that now earns me at least $2800/month which is more than most people earn from a 9 to 5 day job. I always follow the most competitive terms, maybe im a patient individual that would rather wait a few months and then take a big piece of the pie, rather than taking small pieces of the pie in a month or so. I did not need any of the following to hit the first page: Forum backlinks, Profile backlinks, Social bookmarks, Press Releases, Feed submissions, Blog commenting, or Video Marketing. (Im not saying that the above tasks are useless, im just saying that i did not use these.) What I Did Do? 1- Installed Wordpress Blog 2- Installed "All in one seo" + "google.xml" plugin 3- Wrote targeted posts (+ deep linking on some posts to homepage) 4- Built daily backlinks on low and high pagerank websites, relevant to the topic. (unique article on each online property with two backlinks on each article) 5- Cash in the bank! Thanks for taking the time to read this, maybe it has a meaning to you, maybe it does not, i just thought that i had to let people know that targeting the most competitive keywords IS an option, and to try and persuade people to NOT be scared of competition. The more competition there is, the more money is made from the traffic. |

I noticed that you didn't mention article marketing in your post. Did you not use this method either?

Great job Aden! How often did you work on those keywords during the 3 months it took to get on page 1? Were you able to just do the SEO during site creation and just let it be or did you do some other traffic-getting techniques? Ayesha |

@thebitbotdotcom - Article marketing and guest posting on related blogs with low and high pagerank. All relevant, unique content on each backlink built. @jordan08 - I would work around 2hrs/day to achieve these rankings within 3 months. The SEO was done, after the site creation. Building backlinks daily is the main reason why this site hit the first page. I never build the same amount of backlinks which is highly important. I randomize the amounts. eg: day1 = 12 backlinks, day2 = 21 backlinks, day3= 4 backlinks. But over time, the amount of daily backlinks would increase to give an effect of natural growth. |

Great post Aden - thanks for taking the time to spell this out. I am a little confused though. Are you just doing on-page optimisation? You seem to say you are not using a lot of common link-building methods, so what link building do you do? Really curious. Spudnick |

H Aden You are not the only person doing that - I am too - and I have also got great page #1 rankings for very competitive terms especially in the google.co.uk engine. Good to see a fellow Brit doing well. More power to your elbow. Will |

Nice job! $10 per click is very good. Earning $2800 a month from 3 months of work is not bad at all.

| First off, this is not a braggin exercise, im sorry you feel that way. All i was trying to do is explain that most link building methods are not required to get good rankings for highly competitive keywords.

I stated above in a reply that i only used article marketing and guest blog posting on relevant low and high pagerank websites. The on-page optimisation would be done as standard anyway as the site is been built.

Many people waste their time online searching for a so called "magic formula" when quite simply, it dont exist. The only reason why the magic formula exists is because the dream sells! Yes, there are easy and hard ways to make money online but mastering SEO is much more rewarding, in the long run. Play by the rules and expect long term results, instead of a quick buck that soon drys up. |

It is good to see a post about competetive markets as most of the posts are about niche marketing where a person migh get 50 visitors a day. Just out of curiosity, what are the page ranks of sites on the first page of some of your sites and typically how many backlinks would they have? Thanks. Jim. |

Good to have such a large market ! I target the German market - since I am not native English speaker - and I really wonder if you can supply us the link to your website. Maybe we're in the same business - ForEx ? And BTW - I have the same tactics as you, but I add a dirty trick : I try to post in forums that have a SERP better than me for my keywords - with backlinks - and it works pretty well (if the market is not competitive - forget it with ForEx) |

I understand the entire SEO process, but I have two simple questions for you. 1. How did you monetize the site (ad sense, cpa, etc)? 2. Did you use strictly white hat techniques or did you use any "black hat" seo, or even a combo of the two? Thanks for this great write up! |

Really great post. I always find it useful to weed out the fluff. Perhaps 1st page ranking is possible using other approaches, but it's cool you were able to do it with basically just one method. I'm working mostly with paid marketing, but am still trying to learn SEO as I have time. You mentioned you achieved first page ranking. Do you personally try to keep article marketing until you get all the way to position #1 or do you just go until you get traffic and/or 1st page ranking and then focus on new keywords? I have yet to do any SEO as aggressively as you. Do you actually see your ranking increase on Google that quickly? Google always seemed slow to update my ranking, but maybe that's because I don't write enough articles? If you have time, I'm also curious how much traffic you are getting to generate $2.8k/month and if you spin articles to lots of directories or if you are just submitting custom articles to a handful of article directories? Cheers! |

Wondering about something here - did you mean that you optimized a .co.uk site or did you work on a conventional .com/.net/.org but somehow managed to work it for UK only? If so, how?
|

1. Invest $1. Cut you backlinking by 50%+. Click here. Seduce Google. 2. Find tons of high-commission easy in less than a minute here. 3. War Room release on off-page SEO: Gege Robohop -"Incredible", say Warriors 4. Mindset matters. Look at my last year - nothing to do with IM.

Thanks for sharing Aden. I do like SEO, I like the exact keyword domain names which are still up for grabs for $10 and rank first page of Google as soon as they are indexed by Google. Simply fantastic, It's my sport to find them and make them profitable |

Hey Aden thanks for sharing with us your success. It helps us learn a lot. I have a question though. You say that you are building backlinks via article marketing/guest posting on a daily basis and you said some days it is 21 backlinks. Does that mean 21 unique articles on 21 different websites/blogs? So are these unique articles spun articles from your site and are these 21 spun versions of the same article? I know 21 is just an arbitrary number but you get the point. And if you are spinning them, are you having a VA do this?

Good post man! When it comes to SEO, it's all about using correct on and off-page techniques and staying consistent. Eventually, as long as you build a little each day, you'll be able to nab the top spots for your targeted keywords in Google. People look for a "magic method", but fail to see that if they just put in the work and stick to it, they can get results. If there's any "magic message" in internet marketing and SEO, it's staying on top of things and doing the work each and every day. That's what separates the big earners from the little guys. |

Those are needless jobs If you have unique content in your site.If you can continuously put fresh articles in your site then traffic will come automatically to your site and you will be able to make money from that.
