Hello I've found some great keywords, chosen a domain name, and I've chosen an affilate product to promote. Now I need to create a website. What I'm wondering is what kind of page/website will work best? I see terms like "squeeze page" and "landing page" and even "presell page" but what is the best??? I'll also add that: - my keywords are a "how to" and the affiliate product answers the question - I won't be doing any PPC advertising Thanks in advance |

I don't really have a real answer... My best affiliate page uses "Best Books for _______" It really depends on what the product is. Since you are not doing any PPC, you can experiment. If you don't do a full-sell page, you may want to harvest emails. Use a variation of a pre-sell/landing page. The landing page would explain what the problem/issue is, and what your product will do to resolve it. This is what I would make your main index/domain page. You can then create bridge, squeeze, etc. pages and promote those. Affiliate product pages are an iffy proposition. You may have to re-think your PPC options. I certainly would do a blog, squidoo, hub, eza, etc. to get the word out. Paul |

I'm just a little out of my comfort zone because I've never promoted as an affiliate to any great extent. I really just want to send people to the main offer don't I? And if i do then what kind of page do successful affiliates prefer to use on their domain for this?

I decided to email the owner of the product I'd like to promote and ask him what kind of site he'd suggest. He replied back within a couple hours with a sample of a site of one of his most successful affiliates |
