Default Value of In-Content Links from New Domains?

Lately I have been writing unique articles related to my niche, and uploading each article to a different web 2.0 platform like wordpress.com, blogspot.com, etc. I then add an in-content link pointing to my money site, and then build a few links to each web 2.0 site to get them indexed and give them a tiny bit of link juice.

My question is: How valuable are these links, if they are coming from "new" domains (since they are subdomains), and they only have a few backlinks pointing to them? Would it be more effective to spend my time with other link building methods? Many people say that relevant links aren't really better, and that it's only a myth.

Secondly, if this link building technique IS worthwhile, couldn't I essentially get the same link juice by purchasing 10-20 domains, hosting them on separate IPs, and then making a subdomain on each domain for each of my campaigns so I don't have to rely on these web 2.0 sites? I would obviously make sure I didn't leave any footprints in this scenario.

These web 2.0's sites you put content on and use contextual links to your money within the content is a good linking techniques and this will funnel alot of llink juice to your sites because the web 2.0 already are authority sites, and much more better value when you put some links pointing to these web 2.0's.

But if you invest in new domains, you will not be getting the link juice value you obtain from above as they are still new and need to age a bit to build Google trust. So i would rather invest my time and money in building more niche sites, rather than trying to bulid a blog network for backlinking purposes. Remember you will ne to invest in SEO hosting plan having a minimum of 5 C-class Ip servers.

All the best

@olamilekan2: Thank you for your advice. I was under the impression that the authority from web 2.0 sites only passes when your content is on a subdirectory, and that subdomains are treated as a new domain. Is this incorrect?

Here's a tip for you. Rather than buying 10 or 20 domains...spend the same amount of money $100 or $200 bucks and get yourself a couple PR 2 or PR 3 domains to host the sites on. Then give yourself some PR 3 in content links from the home pages of the sites you buy. That will get you much more bang for your buck than any scenario you presented.

For more information about domain buying, check out backlinksforum.com. There is a whole section there devoted to buying domains with PR for backlinking purposes.

wordpress etc really do act like sub domains and have no initial link juice... I find they really do not have any more authority than just starting a new website. But they do offer you over many months some nice websites that you can build to do backlinks to your main ones.

Or you can just buy aged domains, you exchange money for time...
