I just came accross this project and I am using the full URL to link internaly intead of the folder destination of that link (/folder/subfolder/page.html) can anyone say which one is the best practice? |

Hi I'm not an SEO expert but this is what I've read about. If you link using full URL search engines will treat it as a diferent site and will take weight to your site. The best practice should be instead of www.yoursite.com/somethingelse.html just use /somethingelse.html Hope this help. Jorge |

I always understood it was best to use the absolute URL (full address) although I wouldn't say I've ever seen any difference between them to be honest. good article on on internal linking here - Is SEO All About the Links? |
