Default Google positioning ?

Hi,
Am really new to all this internet marketing, and trying to learn it all.

I created 5 autoblogs about 1.5 weeks ago. I indexed them all with google.

I created sitemaps, for them all and added them to google webmaster tools.

I added google analytics to all the sites to keep a check on them, for keywords etc.

Ive added "backlink cloud" plugin a day or 2 ago on all sites, and added social networking buttons yesterday.

Also been using wpunique on all 5 sites.

Now after 1.5 weeks, 2 of these sites are actually indexed. The other 3 are not, even though i indexed them at the same time.

And 1 of the sites, was at page 249 out of about 102000 sites for a keyword phrase. That was 2 days ago.
Then yesterday this same site was down to page 274 out of the 102000 sites for the same keyword phrase.
And today when i checked it, its not even in the top 1000 sites.

The only thing i can think i did, was i changed the keywords on the site a couple of days ago. I had 1 keywords phrase, the name of the site. And the other keywords were all single words. But after looking at other sites, and noticing that they all mainly had keywords phrases i decided to alter the single keywords, to about 6 or 7 keywords phrases all about the same sort of thing.

Could this changing the keywords of made my site drop from the page list i had 2 days ago ?
Or could something else be the problem ?

The site am talking about is the "Golds Gym Weights" one in my signature.

Would be extremely grateful for any advice on the 3 sites in my signature.

Thanks

Tum

Hey there,
being new to the game you've already made a couple of rookie mistakes.
1. Registering all blogs with Google Analytics
2. Registering them with Google Webmaster Tools

Don't give anything away to Google. Google really hates autoblogs so don't give them any additional information on your blogs. Use analytics alternatives and so on.

Here are a couple of questions for you:
1. Are you using different Class IP's to host the blogs?
2. Where the domains registered on the same day?
3. How many of those blogs are you hosting on the same account?

Please remember that Google is a certified domain registrar, too. So, try to mix up your domain purchasing habits (different days, different names, etc.)

Point one and three go without comments. Different hosting accounts or at least different class IPs are a must.

Cheers,

Chris

If you spam Google with autoblogs don't expect Google to be receptive. You generally need hundreds or thousands of such sites to get anywhere, and often Google is not the one that will send the traffic (more likely Bing, Yahoo, Pingback spam or some other source).

For the effort involved and risk it will be shut down if you get penalized or algorithms change you'd be better off building a real site of real value in my opinion.

Hi Chris, Thanks for that info,

Am not sure what you mean by different Class IP's ? Is that something to do with the host am using ?
Yes the domains were done on the same day, and my webhosting is from justhost and all the website are on the same account.

Am guessing now that this is a problem ?

I didnt know whether its because am putting the wrong content or adding to much content to often to my sites ?

Thanks

Tum

It's quite normal for a new site's rankings to fluctuate. Changing the keywords on the website could have also contributed. Check to see when Google last visited your website.

Autoblogs rarely do much for SERP. You need lots of unique content (either write it yourself or pay someone else to)

I developed a new (FREE) PPC/SEO tracking system, go to lambdatracker.com to and enter your email and you will be sent the download link and install instructions .... Also increase your revenue with my Geotargeting script.
