Where in the Hell Have All of The Adwords Advertisers Gone? Big Opportunity I Believe!

I've been out of Adwords for around 2 years now. I started looking up a few different niches and I've noticed there is only about 1/3 of the advertisers that used to be there. These are niches like six pack abs, dating, muscle building, ex back, etc...

So what happened? Did the Google Slap really knock everyone off that bad? It seems like those people with there own products that don't get slapped would make a killing right now.

All of the direct linking from affiliates and even their affiliate pages are gone. I thought they would've found a way to come back but they really have stayed off.

The Google Slap and the rising prices of clicks probably are the main causes for the drop in numbers... I also think they all found other traffic sources. Facebook is probably the biggest alternative to AdWords.

Google is having a field day with instant. In case you missed it,
pundits are pumping up good fortune going google's way. As if they
need it. They are awash in cash and revenue, actually. Google's
stock has been going up as of late.

They tweak on the side of good customers, paying and free.

most would have been suspended by now if still promoting them, and promoting any of those no go zones on G ads now would be like a red flag for any affiliate, you simply would not touch

they are some basics but as whole i recommend people really think about promoting any CB product unless they do some very big homework hours first or they will fall over red rover.

Looking again I don't even see ads anymore from people like truthaboutabs.com. Not saying that they don't advertise, but on weight loss keywords where they advertised before I now see the big boys like nutri-system or weight watchers.

I guess they don't need the little guys when you have the big corporations spending 100k per day

I've always wondered, what does it look like when your account gets banned? Do you login and it says "banned" somewhere or "suspended"?

no buddy / it can be seen in some cases in your adwords editor but thats about it / otherwise your just sitting there revving your engine but going no where.

if you are lucky you will get an email.

I haven't used Adwords in a few years either, but have noticed during Google searches that where there used to be pages of Adwords Ads on the right - there's now blank space for really popular keywords.

I think the price for keywords is probably too prohibitive nowadays, they did send out $100 off coupons via postal mail a few weeks ago however. Maybe they're trying to drum up 'little guy' clients again!
