is it enough to build links on the home or domain only? What do you think about deep linking? I'm not comfortable about building links because of "deep linking". How to make this happen automatically? It's impossible for us to build links for every of our page, right? What if we have hundreds of pages? We can't build links manually to hundreds of pages. If you know how to do deep linking to our pages automatically, tell me, plz |

Of course it is not impossible. building a link to a specific page URl is no different to building a link to your domain root. Your question is actually "I can't be bothered to build deep links, what can I use to do it without effort". |

Keeping deep linking on home page is not enough. Through the navigation you can make deep linking or in content hyperlink the keyword with the page which is related.

Social bookmarking could get you some links to each page. But you are right, you have to pick and choose which ones you want to rank. I tend to use "non-ranking" pages to gain backlinks towards ones I want to rank, such as submitting the articles to directories and linking back to those main ones. Of course, there are other non-white hat ways of doing it that I won't go into. It also puts your site at risk. |

Why can't you build links to hundreds of pages? Use facebook, digg, and the other SNs, to start. And outsource. You can get 100's of backlinks for any link you want to target at a low cost. DIY: SEO an inner page, share it via the SNs, move to the next page. Treat it as a job and spend an hour or two per day on the task. It will add up. |

You maybe cannot build deep links to every single page on your site, but at least you could do some. It is very important for good search engine rankings. If those deep pages are of some value, you shouldn't have problems building links to them. Having links only to homepage doesn't seem natural in the eyes of search engines (and it is not natural).

Deep linking shows the search engines that your entire site is chock full of good information - not just the homepage. That's why it can be so valuable. You can build links to every page on your site just like you do the homepage. It's certainly possible, however, it does take work.
