Default Mass email import

Hi there,

I have several mass email lists that I want to add to my contacts. What email client allows me to add contacts from a document with mass email addresses, i.e. gmail, hotmail, etc.

thanks in advance

Just change the extension to ".csv"

Ok, seriously... What format is the list in currently? If you have it in an address book program, you might be able to export to CSV directly, or perhaps to Excel, then convert the Excel to csv and upload.

If its just a list like this:
name@place.com
Me@you.com
Them@website.com

Then you should be able to copy and paste into a spreadsheet, then export as csv.

It isn't really working for me.. Is there not a mail client where I can simply copy and paste email addresses, separated with comas, into a 'add contact' type of box?

What type of document is it in now? You need to put in in a spread sheet, where the data has a specific cell address in order to be put into the proper fields. If you are unable to do it in its current form, then you may have to become proficient in ctrl-c, ctrl-v.

I think this is the method that will work good and decent for well organized information rather than copy paste .
