I know in the United States .com domains get priority over .co.uk domains. I know in the United Kingdom, .co.uk domains get priority over .com domains. However...does .co get priority (besides Columbia) or is it just treated as global? the_commander |

.co is treated globally. Don't confuse it with the country colombia. Not in the mix anymore. Supposedly co now stands for corporate, company or similar. This was debated a couple months back. You can probably dig the thread up. I made some objections to snatching them up, especially for type in traffic. People might add an m for .com by mistake. I think .co was a bust. Time will tell. But a lot of speculation was going on. .biz was once considered spam, so who knows. Paul |

I think once it's established, .co will become a truly global domain. It's just in these early days when things are up in the air. Thankyou paul for the reply ![]() the_commander |
