Adsense problem - Adsense is displaying unrelated ads to my content

Hi, I have recently made a blog:

laser hair removal

And I've noticed that adsense is displaying ads that are un-related to laser hair removal.

I've tried everything I know.. how can i fix this?

Go to Adsense --> My Account --> Interest-based Ads Preference

Select:

Quote:

Do not show ads based on user interest or demographic categories. Visitation information from my sites will not be used to help create interest or demographic categories.

You should know that by doing this, you could block higher paying Adsense Ads.

If a visitor was searching Google for "car insurance" (a good paying keyword) before they visit your site, the "car insurance" may have a higher paying payout than "hair removal".

Oh so that's why it displays those? Is it based on what you've searched before? I am getting ads on blogging, email marketing etc. What are you getting?

It was confusing me because there is nothing in my site about blogging, email marketing etc

Any input would be great.

Thank you. So you think I should wait a bit for the crawlers? The ads on my individual posts have targeted keywords though.

This is so annoying, now some of the allocated space of adsense on my blogs is empty!
Some pages are displaying relevant ads, some aren't.

Try using section targeting

Section targeting might work but the content on the site is pretty tight. All the ads I am getting are related to blogging (due to blogspot I'd say).

Give it a week to get properly indexed and see what happens.

I've got a site in the same niche and haven't had any issues with getting relevant ads...

Yes I'm getting blogging ads also. Is your site on blogger? Is there any way I can block blogging ads? I'll give it a bit, but I am afraid that its damaging my earnings.

I have a site that's been up for about a week about wholesale armani suits and all the adsense blocks will advertise for is Wholesale Dropships from China. VERY frustrating

Block the crappy URLs in your Adsense Admin.
