Dear Warriors, I was wondering if you could help me a little. I will be launching a new website in the next couple of months and I would like to use a design that would yield the highest possible CTR when using AdSense. It is going to be a website with lots of articles and some interviews. Could you give me some examples of high CTR layouts? I would like to see some actual pages, some schemes, articles about it, whatever helps. Thank you! Anze |

Hi dunker, It's important to understand that what works best, varies based on topics, traffic sources, color schemes, writing styles and many other factors. There is no one layout that works best for all of these varying factors. You will only know what works best if you test all possible layouts on your own site. For some ideas on where to start, here is a link to the AdSense heat map. |

I agree with what you have said, but I still believe that there are some layouts that are simply better than the others to begin with. Of course you need to test and try a lot of different things to find something that works well with your visitors, but it helps to have a good starting point. After some research, I've found this layout and I think it should work quite alright. |

careful with ads under the title, Adsense is banning sites for that right now like crazy. If you do it make sure that under the title and above the ads you put the word "ADVERTISEMENT" this will keep Google happy For now anyways, also do not forget your privacy policy!

One thing I do is blend the colours and fonts in with the site style perfectly. I would place text link ads in the top right corner of the article and use a heading above that with somthing like "Top 4 resources" etc. so that it gives the reader the impression that its a menu. It's kinda grey hat but well within their TOC's.
